Nemours Children’s Hospital Master Site Plan
Nemours has released the Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH) proposed master site plan for its health care campus that will be located in the Lake Nona medical city. This revised plan includes elements derived from months of collaboration and input on how to best serve children’s needs in central Florida. Nemours, along with several other partners, has established the basic footprint for what will be an innovative and integrated destination for pediatric health care. As a result of its user groups, Nemours has included features that will improve the traffic flow to the NCH and parking.
Not only will the hospital be patient and family-friendly, it will incorporate high performance, environmentally friendly and sustainable design concepts into the hospital so that the facility can achieve US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED
