Nemours Launches Teen Advisory User Group

With the recent success of the Family Advisory User Group, a group of parents and community leaders who provide insight on the plans for the Nemours Children’s Hospital, Nemours has expanded its reach by forming a Teen Advisory User Group. This group will be made up of youth ages 12 to 17.

The first Teen Advisory User Group meeting will take place on Monday, May 11, and will cover topics including patient rooms, child-life areas, discovery garden areas and the types of food the teens would prefer to have during a hospital visit. Feedback from the group will help guide the development of the hospital and its operations to ensure that children’s needs are met during their stay.

If your teen would like to get involved, please email nemours@orlandokids.org and include Teen User Group in the subject line. If selected for the group, parents and youth will be notified and provided additional details prior to the first meeting.
